About Percepts
Percepts is a technology product development and consulting firm that focuses on providing creative and innovative solutions and tools to our clients. We are currently developing data analytics tooling for investment management and trading based on our technical experience and finance analyst knowledge.
People
Percepts principal consultant, Austin Poulton, has over 10 years of software architecture and development industry experience in telecoms, finance, retail, government and healthcare; including projects for Deutsche Bank, Avis, JD Williams and UK Government. He has successfully lead teams that have delivered innovative products and solutions for large enterprises and their user populations.
Austin has developed applications for both end-users and frameworks used by software engineers. He is firm believer in agile, iterative approaches to software product development and has championed agile methods with teams to successfully deliver.
Austin holds a first class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Rhodes University and has passed Chartered Financial Analyst Level 2 examination. He is also an Oracle certified specialist in business process management (BPM), service oriented architecture (SOA) and data grid (Coherence).
